VI. Additional Business (SIC Cannot Assist With)
- A. Student Cell Phones:
- Talk of students no longer being able to bring to school. (Cell phones are District/State Policies. Can express concerns to District/State).
- Ms. Schell stated that a cell phone holder with pockets hanging on the classroom wall has been working for students to put phones in at the beginning of class. Only once did a student not cooperate, requiring an administrator. She provides candy incentives for students to regularly use the holder.
- B. Bus Loop (Entrance/Exit 1):
- Less police presence compared to the beginning of the school year, making it harder for bus drivers to get in and out. This also sometimes causes delays for car drivers trying to get students to school promptly. (Traffic patterns on Delamar are not under ARHS jurisdiction).
- Ensuring bus safety on school buses.
